SEEING THE SIGHTS.
JAPANESE IN LONDON. Received July 25, 9.40 a.m. LONDON, July 24. There are many Japanese visitors in London at present.
The Government entertained a deputation from the Japanese Parliament ta luncheon at Hampton Court. Sir Edward Grev, Foreign Secretary, and Mr Lewis Harcourr, First Commissioner of Works, were amongst the speakers. The King sent a message of welcome. Sailors belonging to the Japanese cruiser Ikoma, ]8,750 tons displacement, are ; being shown the s ! ght3 of the metropolis.
