J Received Julv 22, 1 p.m. I NEW YORK, July 21. At Fort Monroe, the breech-block of a twelve-inch gun, belonging to the shone battery, blew out. Ten men were killed and seven injured—two critically. Ihe explosion was due to the premature ignition of a charge in the gun.
