RAILWAY MEN OUT.
AN ILLEGAL ACTION.

The secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Men declares that the strike cannot ba recognised because it is illegal. Seme 25,010 men are affected on the North Eastern line, arid thousands of colliers have been thrown idle.
The members of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants at Darlington and Bishop Auckland have struck.
Mr William Allen, leader of the Tees-side men declares that the latter complain of the tyrannical attitude of the officials in ev. ry depai tment, who are, they say, reducing txpen its to the detriment of the workers.
WORK BEING RESUMED,
