The funeral of Miori Nini will take place at Ahipanepane Pah, Te Ore Ore, on Sunday next. Mr Thomas James Whelan, an old colonist has just died at Auckland. His Excellency the Governor, Lord Islington, has consented to become •patron of the New Zealand Football Association.
