A PROGRESSIVE FIRM.
MESSRS OGILVY AND SONS
On the front page of this issue Messrs Ogilvy and Sons, the enterpricing butchers, of Queen Street, i Masterton,. insert a special advertisement to which attention is drawn. The firm in their announcement deny that there is any truth in the statement circulated that they have advanced the price of meat m Masterton. The aim of the firm has always j [ been to give the best value in both quantity and quality, and the fact that their business has increased steadily year by year is the best evidence that their efforts are appreciated by the public. Being expert judges, they select nothing but the Choicest stock procurable, only prime Wether mutton, and ox or maiden heifer beef, being permitted to enter the shop. A new departure has also lately been undertaken by the firm, the patent rights for the district of the Curry System having been purchased. By this wonderful, scientific process, meat can be corned in two minutes, in any climate, and ensures sweet and wholesome corned meat at > all times. They cordially invite patrons who have not tried it to order a joint as soon as possible. Every piece of meat is absolutely uuaranteed, 1 * , : and, moreover, no chemicals are nseo 3 in the process, but just ordinary , brine.
