By Telegraph—Special to the Age. PALMERSTON IN., July 14. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report at the clearing sales of dairy stock held during the week, that good prices have been realised. At Mr T. Leen's sale at Rongotea, August and September calveis sold up to £l2 5s the whole herd of 63 cows averaging £8 lis par head. A line of 2 year heifers to calve September and October made £5 93 6d . At Mr Riddler's sale at Halcombe on Monday prices ranged from £3 to £8 ss, the herd of 21 cows averaging £6 2s 6d per head. They also sold, on account of Mr A. C. Pearce, 40 cows at £4 10s, and 25 steers at £4 10s. Several other line* of cows, on account of other vendors, sold well. They also report:—At their Palmer ston North sale on Thursday, owing to the inclement weather, only a small entry carae forward. Sales were made at the following quotations: Fat ewes, 15s; mixed hoggets, 123 Id; small hoggets, 7s 8d; forward bullocks. £7 lis; fat heifers, £4 15s to £6 ss; forward cows, £3 18s; store cows, 20s to £2; weaners, 275.
