CONFERENCE OF OWNERS AND SHEARERS.

A conference between representatives of the Canterbury Sheepownera' Union and tre Canterbury Shearers' Union was held to-day, and presided over t y Mr J. W, Trigjgs, the Conciliation Commissioner. Asa result of several hours' discussion an agreement was arrived at on all of the clauses submitted by the sheepowners, save those dealing; with the rates for shearing and with the Tucker case, which comes before the Arbitration Court to-morrow.
