Received July 11, 10 a.m. ATHENS, JuJy 10. a The Consuls at Canea, t&e capital of Cretk, announced that unless the decision of ti,e Protecting Powers — France, Russia, Italy, and Britainregarding admission of Mussulmen deputies to the Cretan Parliament carried out troops would be landed to-moirow and the Customs buildings | occupied. The Assembly met to-day. Of the 114 Christian deputies 59 were present, and all voted in favour of admitting Mussulmans. The Assembly then adjourned for four months. POKTE PROTESTS. Received July 11, 10 a.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, July 10. The Porte, in a Note to the Powers, protests against Greece's action in recommending the Cretans lo follow the Powers' decision. It considers Greece's interference calculated to inflame feeling in Turkey.
