Cnarles John Dimmock, a young:- 1 man, 22 years of age, residing with his parents, at Jervois Road, Ponsonby, was found in his bedroom about 8 o'clock this evening by his sister in an unconscious and dying condition. A doctor was summoned, but on arriving a quarter jjf an hour later he pronounced life to be extinct. .By Dimmock's bedsrde was found a bottle of lysol, half empty. All the circumstances pointed to suicide. METEOROLOGICAL. WEATHER FQRECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 11. The Rev. D C. Bates' summary and forecast arle: — Saturday evening was stormy in the extreme South, and snow fell on Sunday in the South Island, and especially on the higher levels. The barometer has risen everywhere, and is highest in the South Present indications arc for a further rise, with moderate to strong easterly and south-easterly winds prevailing. Cloudy and unsettled weather probable generally, and rain in parts, especially in the North Island.

A low pressure area is now advancing from the westward, and will probably cause bad weather in the latter part of the week.
