The annual seven asida football tournament conducted by the Masterton Friendly Societies Council was played on the Masterton Showgrounds on Saturday and ended in the Carterton Druid team, last year's winners, again being victorious. Seven teams ent°red, but the Rechabites could not get a team together, and so withdrew. The results of the matches were as follows: FIRST ROUND. Foresters 6, tries by Hall and Kyle, beat Hibernian A, 3, try by Corbett. Masterton Druids 11, tries by Munn, Williams and Hilton, one of which Bannister convarted, beat Hibernian B nil.

Carterton Druids, 9, tries scored by, McKenzie 2, and E. McXer.zie, beat Oddfellows 5, try by A. Thompson, converted by K. Welch. SEMI-FINAL. Masterton Druids 3, try by "'ates, defeated Foresters nil. Carterton Druids a bye. FINAL.

Carterton Druids 5, beat Masterton Druids nil. This was by far the best game of the day, and Carterton had to go to win. Groube tcored the Carterton try, and N. McKenzie converted. Messrs J. Crosbie and C. J. Mackellar acted as referees for the tournament.

WAIRARAPA JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. I LIBERLAS v. DALEFIELD. Played at Featherston the above fixture ended in a draw, 6 po.nts each. The result of this match leaves Dalefield leading in the Junior Championship. GREYTOWN SCHOOL v. MASTERTON SCHOOL. Played at Masterton and won by Masterton by 29 points to nil. Brunton 4, and Blackman, Sewell, and Webber, one each, scored tries for Masterton,: four of which Fprman converted.
