The annual stock roturna of the New Zealand Government show that the nuiu ber of dairy cwvs and heifers colved or to calve for the season 1009-10 amount to 635,316. The t tal l.awrence-Keimedy-Gillies Milk ng JVlaohirjes sold in Ne\v Zealand at end of March last amounts to 1510 pulsators, eich capable cf milking 18 cows per hour. Assuming the average milking to last two hours the total cows milked daily throughout New Zealand by the L.K.G. silkit>g Machine amounts to 5-i,6lii In other words 10 18 percent, of the total cows in flew Zealand are now milked by these weli-kno wn and reliable machines. This is a record which no other country or machine can even npproech, and net only shows 'New.Zealand leads in mechanicnl milking but also that the L.K.G. is tbe loading machine in the pre-nier milking machine country in the world.
