The Ministers' Association decided to request the Ministers of various churches to bxing the following resolution before their congregation* un Sunday: "This congregation being of opinion that the legalising of bookmakers is a grave menace to the public morals, and tends to foster the gamb ling spirit among the people of our Dominion, respectfully urged upon the Government the desirability of introducing legisation this session for the abolition of bookmakers licenses."
