LTD RiOD BILKING MACHINE, New Plymouth, 16th April, li) 10. TheKidd Milking Machine Co. .New Plymouth. • Dear Sir, —Tfc is now over six months ago since (. instilled one of your Three Bucket Plan;?, with a 3-h.p. Watt Jingino. 'A'heo i~ %*v > !h<j order for the machine I lo«M>< d up u ..•. ti »n experiment, rGi'e'od i.<y tin difficulty iti procuring kb.;u..' lam more than satisfied with tae lesult. Th<* cows took readily to the machine, and 1 am convinced toat I hare obtained better lesmti ripnt turongh the season than if they had been milked by hand, This I attribute to the regularity »nd imoothne33 with which the machine es its work as against when the ows are iaiiked by. afferent parsons. The teats airl udders have not sustained the slightest ifjury by the use of the machine, on the contrar/ the cows have not ! bßen troublsd with sore tetts, as is often the casa with hand milking. To sum up with, I look upjn the use of the maohine as giving as good or even better results than by hand milk nr, besides giving a great saving in time and labour. The cows are less than half the time in the yard than if milked by hood, which is a great advantage. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone wanting a machine to go in for a Kidd, or if they are in doubt to come and se? mine at work. lam 63 years of age, end have been dairying in Taranaki all my life pn am not exactly a naw churn at the Same.
