MAJOR CUP. KNOXv. EXCELSIOR. Played at Masterton, and won by Excelsior by 1 goal to nil. This was one of the best games this season, and excellent hockey was played all through. In the first half there was no score, but in the second R. Hatch phot the only goal for Excelsior from a good passing rush. Mr Rosson was referee. BOOTH CUP. ST. MATTHEW'S B v. EXCELSIOR A. Played at Masterton, and won by Excelsior by 6 goals to J. Hornblow 3, Picton 2, and Williams scored for Excelsior, and W. Morris for St. Matthew's. AGE CUP.. RAMBLERS v. KIA TO A. j A very interesting match was played at Lansdowne yesterday afternoon, between the Rambler and Kia Toa Clubs. The game was keenly contested all through, and play was very fast. In the first spell Miss E. WenN den scored for Kia Toa, and in the sacond half Miss C. Easthope equalis-1 ed matters by notching a goal for i Ramblers, the game thus ending in a j draw. Mr B, Iveson was referee. . i HINEMOA v. HUIA. I Hinemoa defeated Huia, at Carterton, by two goals to nil. KIWI v MASTERTON HIGH /SCHOOL. On the Masterton Schoolgrounds, Kiwi beat Masterton High School by two goals to nil. LADIES' ASSOCIATION.
