WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.
m AN ENJOYABLE RUN. The Wairarapa Hunt Club bad another enjoyable run at Opaki yesterday afternoon. There were no less than .thirty m —Hers following the hound _uis popular sport! seems taking on well, as good fields have been the order of the day right through the season. In the absence of Mr Sam. Bunny, huntsman, who is at present on the sick list," Mr J. Floyd had charge of the hounds. The drag was laid by Messrs R. Buick, on Kiwi, and j Alex. Watson, on lobar Moray, and the "throw-off took place on Mr P. > Cotter's property, and the run continued on through Messrs C. Bannister, W. H. Buick, J. Ross, and a check was made at Mr R. Buick's heuse, where, refreshments were handed round, after which Mr C. F. Vallance, Patron, called for three cheers for Mr and Mrs R. Buick for their hospitality. The hounds were i aaain set off, the run being through j the properties of Messrs J. and H. ! Holmes, F. Woods and W. H. Buick, where the "kill" took place. One : or two of the followers parted company with their horses duringj the I run, hut no accidents of any serious nature were recorded. The following j took part in the run—C. F.
