Major Martin Hume, M.A., (Cambridge), lecturer in Spanish History and Literature, Pembroke College, Cambridge, examiner in Spanish and lecturer in the University of LoniAm. and examiner in the University of Birmingham, waa educated in Madrid. His publications are numerous.

Mordecai Sherwin, who did a trr- at deal of good work for Notts, was born in 1851.
