Box 42 RiDD MILKING MACHINE "New Plymouth, If th April, 1910. The Ridd .Unking Machine Co. New Plymouth. Dear Sir,—lb is now over six months ago since I installed one of your Three Bucket Plants, with a 3-h.p. Watt Engine. When I gave the order for the machine I looki d upon it as an experiment, rendered necessary by the difficulty in procuring labour. I am more than satisfied with the result. The cows tock readily to the machine, and I am convinced ttiat I hare obtained better result? right; through the season than if they had bteti milked by hand. 'lhis I attribute to the regularity, and smoothness with which the machine does its work as against when the cows are milked by dffierent parsons. The teats ani udders have not sustained the slightest injury by the use of the machine, on the contrary the cows have not been troublsd with sore teats, as is often tho case with hand milking. To sum up with, I look upon the use of the machine as giving as good or even better results than by hand milk'n-', besidos giving a great saving in time and labour. The cows are less than half the time in the yard than if milked by hond, which is a great advantage. I have no hes tafcioa in recommending anyone wanting a machine to go in for a Ridd, or if they are ia doubt to corns and sei mine at work. lam 63 yeaw of age, end have been dairying in Taranaki. all my life so am not exactly a new ohum at the Sams. Your 3 faithfully, (Sd. A IRON MARSH MAN SON VND BARR, Palmeraton North. HEN you have read what Mr A » » Matthews, of Waiorongomai, says about WHITE'S SHEEP DIP, you should have no hesitation in using it. When addressing farmers at Masterton on Tuesday, October 6th, on "The History and Breeding of Romney Sheep, 1 ' Mr Matthews stated, inter alia: "1 have not seen a louse in my flock for TWENTY years, and if at shearing a lick is seen it is such a ' RARE OCCURRENCE that the shearer is certain to call mv attention to it. I have just had over 500 ram hoggets shorn, AND NOT A TICK WAS SEEN AMONGST THEM, and T never dip more than ONCE during the year, and always early in the season." For the past FIFTEEN TEARS M Matthews has used WHITE'S SHEEP DIP QITLY, and the above testimony sets out its merits beyond question. Healthy sheep, well grown, lustrous fleeces, and no ticks or insect life to trouble your sheep are assured when you -The Waira;'aYa Farmers' Association 'will -supply all particulars and fulfil orders. Place a trial order today. Like Mr Matthews yon will never egret it. <
