CLEANING SALE OF DAIRY STOCK.
Messrs Abraham and Wiliiamfv Ltd., report having held a most successful Bale of dairy stock on behalf of Mr W. Tule.a.d Mr J. G. Brechin, at Scarborough. Mr TuK's? cows were a particularly good lot, a number of them well into the Jersey strain and in calf to a purebred J.-i----aey bull. Prices ranged as high as £l6 15s, and made the highly satisi-J factory average of £9 9s. His heifers sold from £4 12s 6d (0 £&. Mr Brechin's cows also sold well, selling up to £l2, and averaging uver £6. Young grade Jersey bull, 3Jgns •rlis'purebred Jersey\ bulls did not quij;e reach expectations, and we csn quotei them for private sale.
