Messrs A bra ham and Williamp, Ltd. report as follows:—At our sale at Palmerston, heli tc-day, we had a largeyarding of both sheep and.cattle sheep of all classes met with a keen demand > and we managed to quit the whole of - the entrie's-with the exception of two small pens, on which the vendors' reserve was rather high. We quote:—Woolly hoggets, 143; ewe hogget?, 10s lOd, 12s 8d to 14g; wether hoggets lis to 12s 6d*. mixed hoggete, small 6s 6d to 7s 6d; fat ewes, lis 5d to 13s. sd; aged ewes in lamb, 7s 2d. to 8s 6d; s.m. ewes ;in lamb, 10s,3d;to. lis 4d to 14s; purebred 4-tootb Romney ewes, lis. Cattle".—Forward bullocks, £7 4s;. fat cows," i>4 5s to £7 10s; weaners, 23s to £2; dairy cows, on which there was a big entry in, sold frdm S3 10s to £6 159; springing heifers, £6 10s.
