A FRENCH RAID.

Advices bavy been received of z brilliant French raid in the Hinterland of Shawia. The raid was undertaken in order to stop the Sheikh Malainin going to Fez to stir up anti-Eupopean feeling. The French had thirteen killed and 71 wounded. The, natives were repulsed, and left many dead on the field. The French commander has sent reinforcements of arlilltry.
