-\- Miss Prior, sister of Dr Prior, of \ \fejs town, arrived in Masterton last Evening from Australia, Mr A P. feiiding, who has cap- "" ably filled the position of custodian of the Y.M.C.A. since its inception in Masterton, has decided to resign his dutiC3 in that connection. Mr John MtLeay, late of "Beauley " Maneapakeka, who has lately lakenupland in the Waikato dje- ' tr-ict, is at.present on a visit to Masterton. Mr F. J. McQuarrie, representing the well known firm of Messrs W. G. Hearne an 3 Co., Ltd., ia at pre- . entonavisit to Masterton, and^is paying at the Club Cafe. ess*' ?S4jr C. E. Daniell, Mr and Mrs O: tfragnell, and Mr, Mrs * -liott, who have been on a:| short -' visit to Australia, returned to*Mastert"n yesterday. The party had a very pleasant holiday, and returned much, benefited by the change. The election to the secretaryship of the newly-formed ex bouth African Campaigners' Association- of Mr H.-M. Boddington is considered by members of the Association to augur well for the future success »*~tfi& organisation.
