FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S INTENTION.

MELBOURNE, June 27. Mr Andrew Fisher, the Federal Prime Minicter, states that the Commonwealth intends as Eosn as possible to-carry out the construction of the Trans-Australian railway. The Government, he says, is willing to co-operate with Western Australia in the construction of the line.
