A farr&er named Boatwick was wanted on a rcisdemearour charge, and police and a sheriff's pos3e went to effect his arrest. The man showed fight. After kfllinz Mr Davis, chief of police ; and Mr Sheffield, deputy sheriff, Bostwick barricaded himself in hia house, and the militia had to be summoned to aid in hia capture.
