Dear Sir,—lt i 3 now over six months ago since t installed one of your Three Bucket PlantP, with a 3-h.p. Watt Engine. When I gave the order for the machine I looked upon it as an experiment, rendered necessary by the difficulty in procuring labour. I am more than satisfied with the result. The cows took readily to the machine, and I am convincad taat I hare obtained better re3ult3 right through the season than if they had been milked by hand, 'this I .attribute to the regularity and £.moDthness with which the machine does its work as against when the cows are milked by dfferent parsons. The teats anl udders have not sustained the slightest injury by the U3e of the machine, on the contrary the cjws have not been troublsd with sore teats, S3 is often the case with hand milking. To sum up with, I look upon the use of the machine as giving as good, or even better results than by hand milking, besides giving a graat saving in time and labour. The cows are les3 than half the time in the yard than if milked by hond, which is a great advantage. I have no hes : tation in racommanding anyone wanting a machine to go in for a Kidd, or if they are in doubt to come and ses mine at work. lam 63 years of age, end have been dairying in Taranaki all my life so am not exactly a new chum at the Sams.
