WORM IN SHEEP.
A SOURCE OF SERIOUS LOSS TO PASTORaLISTS. I is a fact which no practical sheep-owner will gainsay that many thousands of pounds are lost annually fo flockmasters in this country o,.ing to the presence of throat, lung and o!her intestinal worms in sheep and lambs, yet (here is no reason why this should be sa, as the remedy is cheap and effective. Mr Henry M. Maison, Airl>, Stratfurd, writes under date 29th April, 1910, as fol, ows;—ie ,
"To my thinking no better drench can be got for throat and .ung worms in lambs than Quibell's Liquid Dip, given on an empty stomach. Before drenching, keep the sheep in the yard for 12 hours, and don't let them out of the yard for a short time after drenching. So (he fumes on the empty stotracn are liable to do their work in killing the worms iu the lungs and hody. I fill a kerosene tin fall of water, put a pint of Liquid Dip in it, and drench away iri a long race. Since using this drench I have had no trouble with my lambs."*
