HOCKEY.

LADIES' AbSOCIATION. A meeting of the Wairarapa Ladies' Association was held in Miss Finnis' rooms lasi evening, when final arrangements in connection with the representative match with Wellington, were discussed, It was mentioned that Miss K. O'Leary would be unable to make the trip, and Miss Ordish (Kiwi) was appointed to fill the vacancy. Messrs R. Hatch, B. Iveson and W. J, Bannin were appointed a eelection committee for the season.

It was decided to register the colours of the Wairarapa Association as navy blue skirt and blouse, with emerald green belt, tie and cap.

MEN'S ASSOCIATION

Mr H. H. Donald presided at a meeting of the Men's Association held in the Age Company's building last evening. Mr S. Hunter was appointed to the Management Committee, vice Mr M. Mcintosh, resigned. It was decided that the senior representatives to play Wellington for the Shield hi picked on July 9th, and that gamt-s with the Shield team and the B representatives be played at Carterton on July 14th and at Masterton on July 21st, the senior fixtures being postponed on both days. Mr A. C. Major was appointed manager of the team to play for the Shield. • In the event of a junior representative match with Wellington, it was decided to play a junior A and B representative match at Masterton on July 21st, when all junior fixtures tor that day will be postponed. Messrs C. Cole, J. McGinnity, and G. Sievers were appointed a junior selection committee. The annual five-aside tournament and smoke concert will be held at Masterton on the first Thursday after the fixtures. It was decided to send the representative team on tour to play Wanganui on July 26th and Manawatu on July 27th. The St. Matthew's A team to play Excelsior B on Thursday will be:— Livingstone, Phillips, Cole, Voyce, IR. Morris, Flaws, Berry, Harding, Boyd, Potter and Sutton.
