We quote:—Fine crossbreds, 8d to BJd; medium crossbreds, 7dtoYgd; coarse crossbreds, 6d to7|d; hogget skins, 6,1 to 6Jd; dead skins, 41 to 61d; dead hoggets, 5d to 6d; lamb skins, s|d to 7Jd; quarter to half wools, 4dto 7£d; dry pelts, 2Jd to sd; green skins, 3s 6d to 6s 6d; iamb pelts, 2a 3d to 4b 6d. Cowtails—ls 8d per dozen. Hides.—Hides were again down, oversea markets giving no enouragement, though cow hides held their position at the expense of ox hide. Calfskins were firm at last sale rate. LONDON MARKETS.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable message from tbeir London house under date of the 16th inst.:—Frozen Meat.— There ia an active demand fur New Zealand lamb, prices being as under. -New Zealand prime Canterbury, heavy s§d per lb, light s|d per Id; North Island, heavy ojd per lb, light s§d per lb. Mutton.—Small supplies. Prices firm at following figures : i ~ New Zealand prime crossbred Canterbury, heavy 3Jd per lb, light 4d per lb; North Island, heavy 3fd per lb, light 3£d per lb. Beef.—Poor demand, prices being weaken We quote:—New Zealand prime ox beef, lores 3£d per lb, hinds 4d per lb. The demand for beef has been checked by the increased prices asked.
