The Mayor and prominent citizens received Mr Roosevelt, whn took part in the procession througn ihe city with an escort of the original Rough Riders of the Spanish War, and veterans. Hundreds of, thousands of peraons lined the streets for a length of four miles from Broadway. The newspapers are discussing !Vir prestige, and the necessity for his influence for the Republican Party.-
