AN INDIAN INCIDENT

Advices have been received in Lahore to the effect that 350 habitual criminals imprisoned in the Fatehgarh Gaol atte.npted to storm the main gate. Ignoiing warnings, they showered brick-bats on the gurads, who volleyed, checking the rioters. Twojfurther dangerous rashes were met by fresh volleys. Seven rioters were killed and fifty wounded.
