BIG THUNDERSTORM.
SIX PESRONs KILLED. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN INJURED. Received June 14, 9 a.m. BERLIN, June 13. During a thunderstorm six per sons were kill id, and seventeen seriously and one hundred slightly injured ny lightning in the Jungfernhelde Park—a large pleasure area on the north-west side of Berlin—where they had been sheltering under the trees. CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT Received June 14, 9.30 p.m. BERLIN, June 14. Tht! Jungfernhfilrle Park was crowed v.ith pleasure seekers when the stoi-iii broke, arid a thousand persons took refoga'Mjrider the trees. In the Johannia Cemetery, which is surrounded by an iron bound paling, there was a sudden fearful clap of thunder, and the lightning struck a house and passed into the earth, being carried urderground to the palings, where it ran along the iron and through the cmwd. The latter were all momentarily blinded and stunned, and a hundred iay on the ground writhing and screaming. Most of the injuries consist of severe burns,
