LONDON MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London bouse: TaLow —We quote present spot values for the following descriptions:—Good mutton, 35a 6d per cwt; good beef, 34a 9d per cwt; mixed, 33s per cwt; Market dull. STOCK KEfOEf. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Eketahuna"stock sale held yesterday, as follows;. — Owing to the very rough weather prevailing stock did not come forward up to advertised numbers. There were no sheep forward. In cattle, a fair yarding was submitted and there was a total clearance under the hammer. Springing cowe, £3 2s'6d; empty cows, £1 10s, £2 10s, £3 3s; fat cows, £4 2a 6d; bulls, £2 10s. WOOL SALES. The following interesting figures are supplied by Messrs Dalgety and Co. regarding the of colonial wool sales for the current year: —The total available and quantity offered on the opening day was as follows Sydney, available balea 10,500, catalogued 26th April, 590 bales; Queensland, 10,000, 593; Port Phillip 17,777, 959; Adelaide, 5,000, —; Tasmania, 6,200, —; Western Australia, 6,300, 304; New Zealand, 107,000, 6,830; Cape, 8,000, 691. — Total 170,000 bale*; 9,580 bales. In addition to the above there were to be 'offered Punta Arenas, 16,000; Falkland Island 3, 2,200; Kiver Plate, 500.—Total, 18,700 bales.
