WEDDING.

SHAW —WILLIAMSON. A quiet wedding was celebrated on Thursday afternoon last, at the residence of the bride's aunt, Mrs Donald McKenzie, cf Kuripuni, when Miss Eiizwb th (Lizzie) Williamson, eldest daughter of Mr John Williamson, of Hatuma, Hawke's Pay, was married to Mr James Shaw, son of Mrs Shaw, of Featherston. Miss Maggie Williamson, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Mr George Hcod best man. After the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. Bain Macdunald, a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of, at which the übual toasts were honoured. Mr and Mrs Shaw were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents. The newly married couple left by the afternoon train for Wellington, where the honeymoon will be spent.
