Messrs Manson and JBarr, Palmerston North. Dear Sirs,—After working the Ridd Milking Machine for some five months 1 feel justified in giving my candid opinion of same. I may state that I had been thinking of putting in a plant for some three or four years, but there always seemed to me there wan room for improvement. I have now every confidence in stating that the Four Bucket Plant is giving me every satisfaction, and I confidently say that everyona who has seen it at work has nothing but praise for it. I have been milking forty cowb with it this season, but intend increasing my herd to sixty in future. Tho cows after the first few days took to it very quietly, and wanted little if any stripping; young two-j ear heifers, of which we broke in six, stripping not mora than a capful from the six, and threo cf the six giving over forty pouuds of milk per day. Myself and sons would not be without it on any account. Mr Gallon again writes on 29th April, 1910:—I can only add with reference to tli liidd Milking Mach no that after teven months,'"wcrk I am better satisfied than ever, if that were possible.—Yours trulv, ;" (Sd.)
