FIENDISH CRUELTY.
BY SULTAN OF MOROCCO. United Press Association—By Eleotric Telegraph Copyright. Received June 8, 10 a.m. LONDON, June 7. A portion of the Fez (Morocco) garrison deserted with their officers' arras. The cause of the desertion was that tkeir pay was in arrears. The|Sultan's troop?, recently defeated, have also joined the rebels. The Moroccan lean was largely oversubscribed in Beriin. The Governor of Fez has been deposed. He ia accused of extensive peculations. His wife refused to reveal the hidden wealth, and was suspended by the wrist?, red hot irons were placed on her breasts, and -she was subjected to other unnameable tortures. Her eldest son whs also fatally tortured.

POPULATION THREATENING TO KISE. Received June 9, 12.45 p.m. FEZ, June 8. The Governor's wife has succumbed to her tortures. The Sultan, Mulai Haficf, is addicted to drugs, and the Grand Vizier's difficulty lies in restraining wholesale murders. There are indications that the exasperation of the population will [shortly find an outlet.
