AN UNDERSTANDING
013 THE PERSIAN QUESTION Received June 8, 9.45 p.m. LONDON, June 8. Great Britain, Russia and Germany have arranged an understanding on the Persian question. Britain and Russia re-affirm equal commercial rights for all States. On the ,other hand Germany will not contest British or Russian righta to defend certain strategic political interests, such as those arising out of railways, roads and telegraphs.
