Own Correspondent. | Wednesday. Mr S. Johnson, of Falmerstcn North, will .jurge the poultry and j pigeons at the forthcoming show of the South Wairarapa Poultry As sociation. A skating carnival is to bo held here during tne month. At a meeting of footballers last evening, arrangements were completed for the benefit social which ia being held to assist a Carter tun follower of the fame, who wns recently injured by having his collar bone broken. The body of <h? unfortunate youne fellow, Harold l£i!c l !<n, who was drowned in the Butt river on Sunday was recovered this morninp. Miss Ballaehy, dsugnt a r of the* Rev. W. Billacny, of Wellington, formerly vicar of St. Mirk's tJhurch here, is a present on a holiday visit to Carterlon.
