Lurd Islington arrived at Fremantle yesterday. Mr P. Holloway and Miss K. Holloway/ of Masterton, will leave by the steamer Corinthic on June 16th on a lengthy holiday to England. fsMiss Beetham, of Brancepeth, and Mrs C. R. Bidwill, of Tawaha, Featherston, intend visiting Sydney, leaving Wellington by the Ulimaroa shortly. The Hawke's Bay Herald, published at Napier, contains the following: —A partnership has been arranged between Mr B. J. Dolan, barrister and solicitor, of this town, and Mr I-]. J. Ferguson, of Messrs Westall and Ferguson, solicitors. The business will be carried on under the firm name of Dolan and Ferguson at Gladstone Chambers, in Tennyson Street. Mr Dolan will attend to the 1 common law and court work, and Mr Ferguson will have charge of the conveyancing department.
