c WEaTHEK FORECAST. By Teiegraph—Press Association. Wellington, June 6. Following is the Rev. G. D. Bates' summary and forecast:—Very ! humid and foepy weather has acompanled a low pressure area of decreasing intensity, which passed over the country en Saturday and Sunday. Heavy rain fell in parts, and northerly winds, strong to gale, were experienced a'' times;, but they navy bien generally riiudai.'ate and variable. Present; indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, with cloudy and unsettled weather. There will probably be little movement of the barometer in the north, but w temporary rise in the south. Low pressure is due on Friday. Mr J. C. Boddington reports that ! the rainldl registered at the Upper : Plain for 24 hours preceding 9 a.m. ; on Sunday was 5 pointy, and 9 a.m. I on Monday 29 points.
