NEW ZEALAND v. WELLINGTON. VICTORY FOR THE REPKESENi ' * TATIVE.TEAM. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 3. The football *match, New Zealand v. Wellington, was.played to-day, in fine weather, and in the presence of a large attendance. The game was a very fast and good exhibition of football. Some fine passing rushes were indulged in during " the afternoon by both sides.' {The New Zealand team was not vastly superior to 1 its opponents, but it should give a ■ good account of itself on the other side. The backs work well together, and the forwards ara'a fine lot, their play at times tc-day being brilliant. ,' The game jresulted in a win for New Zealand by 26 points to 17. O'Leary, Fuller, Stohr. Paton, WiLBon, and Mitchinson scored for the winners, and Bradley, Everson Bruce, McFarlane and Dawson. for ' Wellington.
