WEATHER FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELINGTON, June 2. Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast j~ Moderate southerly winds have prevailed northward ot New Plymouth and Napier,and westerlies elsewhere. Tne barometer has continued high in the North, but has faHen a little in the South. Today the weather has been fine m most parts. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds,' and fair weather, but with increasing haziness generally. A i change in wind and weather is likely to take place in the northern districts after to-morrow, with a falling barometer, and conditions are somewhat unsettled in the far south to-nii?ht } but the barometer will proI bably rise again soon.
