About one mile and a half (382 entries). Mr Fairlie's b c Lemberg, by Marco—Chelandry, 9.0 1 Sir John Thuraby's b Greenback, by St Frusqu n—Evergreen 9.0 2 Mr A. P. Cunliffe's bor br 'c > Charles O'Mailey, by Desmond—Goody Two Shoes, 9.0 3 (Winner trained by Taylor).
THeJ RACE. Received June 2, 9.35 a.m. LONDON. June 1. . Neil Gow was troublesome at; the post. Greenback Jed, wich Lerfiberg, Wildflower. and Neil Gow in cldsa attendance. The positions were practically unaltered till a fjw yards from the post. Lebmerg won by a neck, two lengths between Greenback and Charles O'Malley, Keiljjuow, close up, fourth. Time, 2mm 35 l-ssec—-a record. Minoru's time last year was 2.42.

Received June 2, 10 30 p.m. CALCUTTA, June 2. Captain Raban, of the Indiai Army, who is on leave, drew th« horse Lemberg in the Calcutta TurJ Club sweepstakes, and immediately sold a half shave to a London syn dicate for £7,500, The first prize ii woith £50,000.
