Messrs Abraham and Wijliams, Ltd., - report on their Pahiatua sale in the Farmers' Association's ysrds on Tuesday, as followsWe had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep sold well, and we cleaned the whole yarding with the exception of two pens, of breeding ewes, which did not meet much inquiry. Cattle sold-at late rates. Quotations.—Two-tooth wethers, 10s yd to lis 9d; forward wethers, lis; good ewes in lamb, 9s 6d to lis forward empty ewes, 6s 9d to 9s 2d; empty store ewes, 3s Id to os 9d; good lambs, 63 6d to 8s 3d; 18 month steers, £2 2s to £3; cows in calf, £2 10s to £3 2h 6d: heifers in ealf, £3 15s.
