HOTEL LICENSES.
AT WGODVILLE AND FAHIA- ' TUA. RENEWALS AND WARNINGS. By Telegraph—Press Association. WOODVILLE, June 1. The annual meeting of the Pahiatua Licensing Committee was held here to-day, all the members beiog present. All the 7.'nodvi!le ..hotel licenses were granted', provided lhafc Mr Gothard, th= exfcuior tf the late Mr Bottomlev of the Cenual Hotel, obtained a transferee within three months. Mr i >wyer of ihe Club Hotel was granted three months leave of absence, and Mrs Dwyer was appointed manageress. The Masonic and Club'Kotela were both otrieted to provide an improvement to the tire escapes; The licences of all the Pahiatua hotels were renewed. One licenser,, who had been fined for supplying a drunken man with liquor was severely warned. The country hotels licenses were renewed, except that of Herbertville, which was adjourned for twentj-eight days, when the license will be cancelled if a suitable transferee is not forthcoming. All the country hotels were formally required to provide stabling.
