COMMERCIAL.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual fortnightly sale in the Taratahi yards yesterday the 30th inst., when a good yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward well above advertised numbers, the bidding at auction was very brisk in comparison with recent sales at these yards and they are pleased to report having disposed of practically everything yarded. They quote a3 follows:—Fat and forward ewes 7s 3d. 10s to 12s 3d; 2-tooth wethers 10s 6d, lis 6d, 12s, 13s 3d to 14a lOd; woolly lambs 7i, 7s 9d to 9s; ewss in lamb 6s 6d, Bs, 8s lOd to 12s 3d. Cattle: Springing heifers £5 to £6; empty cows, up to £3; empty heifers £2 5s to £2 12s 6d; off steers £2 10s to £3 la. Our next sale in these yards will be held on 13th June.
