BAND CONTEST.
By Telegraph—Press Association. GREYMOULH, May 22. There was fine weather for the West Coast Band Contest, which concluded on Saturday evening. There was a very large attendance, and the contest in evsry way was a success. The test selection resulted as follows: —Reefton 1, Hokitika 2, Brunner ?. ,Grey Battalion 4, Grey Citizens 5, Denniston 6. In the Test March the results were —Grey Battalion 1, Denniston 2 Hokitika 3, Grey Citizens 4, Brunner 5, Reefton 6.
Mr Wade, of Wanganui, acted as judge.
