WEEKLY PRODUCE REPORT.

The New Zealand Farmers' Co operative Distributing Company, Limited, report as follows :

Potatoes huve advanced and the price is still rising. Onions are also firming. Vegetables are in steady demand excepting cabbage and cauliflower, which are somewhat easier. A decided change has taken place with regard to cooking apples, which are now in excellent demand at much increased values. Preserved eggs are easier with fairly large supply. Oats are advancing, and wheat is firm. Jf ollard and bran show an advancing tendency. Maize at present prices is well worth stocking up for winter supplies. MESSRS .BLADE AND GO'S REPORT.

Messrs J. E. Blade and Co. report a good attendance at their weekly sale on Saturday. Aged draughts sold fairly well, while lighter sorts failed to reach owners' reserves. There were no cows or pigs entered, for which we had several inquiries. There was a fair entry of poultry, for which competition was keen. We quote as follows:—Aged draught horass up to £ls; purebred White Leghorn cockerels, 6s: other 2s 6d to 3s 6d; rosters, 4s; all at per pair; pig potatoes, 2s 6d per sack; Swede tur nips, 2s 6d per sack; flawke's Bay apples, 5s to 6s per 481b cases; pumpkins, Jd per lb; furniture, etc., fetched fair prices.
