MEETS WITH OPPOSITION
By Telegraph—Press Association FEILDING, May 13.
At a meeting of the Feilding District Branch of tbe Farmers Union held this afternoon the proposal to support the Farmers' Cooparative Freezing Works for the Manawatu and Rangitikei Districts Some opposition was shown to the proposal on the ground that the farmer's had cc-operative works before, and deserted them when better prices were offering, also that the proposed Company would not get sufficient lambs to keep it going. It was decided, however, to send a delegate to the Conference to fully disus3 the matter.
