THE WANGANUI FIRE.

At the Supreme Court tu-day, Martin Tier,was convicted chiefly through finger-print evidence on |pur charges of burglary. Tier pleaded guilty to two other similar Se itence was deferred.
Ralph Balcorcbe, a youth, charged with a sarious offence, was found not guilty.
It was decided to commence on Monday the rehearing cf the case against Davis and Haines, cha'ge-] with Bison in connection with the Rutland HG*el fire at Wanganui.
