Halley's comet rose to-day at 4.9 a.m., 217 million miles distant from the jearth. Rises at 4.L'B a.m. to-morrow, 24 mi'lion miles distant. Transit of comet across sun's disc —2oth May, between 1.50 and 2.50 a.m. Perigree of comet—2oth May.
