BOY SCOUTS.
"A SERIOUS SET BACK."

At a meeting of the local executors of Boy Scouts at Wanganui to-night, it was decided to approve of the circular issued from the North Island headquarters to enable the Junior Cadet Department to avail itself ot the traininer given by the Dominion Boy Scout organisation. It was decided to write to the authorities at headquarters in regard to matters of recognition of service for scout masters, for military and long service medals, and acting lieutenants, commissions of appointment. Also to further point out that unless half the service of boy scouts between the ages of fourteen and eighteen for the senior cadet service is recognised and
the maximum age of scouts raised from sixteen to eighteen years, a serious stt back will be given the boy scout organisation throughout the Domii i in.
